Callie Ryan Brimberry’s work has been featured in Educational Leadership, California English, Dialogue, as well as in the MUSE exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art in partnership with Story Exchange. Winner of the 2018 CATE Professional Writing Contest, Callie Ryan's essays and reviews have appeared on Book Riot and Novel Suspects. She previously served as an editor for Dialogue, an education periodical for the San Diego Area Writing Project, a faction of the National Writing Project. The periodical offers insight into current issues in education and prompts readers, primarily educators, to examine the way their teaching pedagogy acknowledges and supports students’ cultures, races, ethnicities, genders, religions, and sexual orientations.

August 2017: Callie Ryan read her piece, Becoming More, as part of the MUSE exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art in partnership with Story Exchange, a community engagement project where shared human experiences are told through writing and art.
